Bill Kutcher is a native of Southern Nevada. He first became interested in photography while attending a photography class at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in the mid 1970's. Soon after graduating he set up a darkroom at home and began processing his own black and white and color work, using the Cibachrome printing process for his color work. He began a career in the commercial construction industry in 1978 and worked on many of the Hotel/Casinos built in Las Vegas during the next 20 years. After retiring from the construction industry, he found more time to pursue his interests in photography. His Passion for photography soon became a full blown obsession. He has since spent countless hours pursuing images of the natural beauty of the American Southwest.

Today Bill uses professional quality Canon and Nikon camera's and lenses. He processes his images with Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

Photographer's Statement

It is my desire to capture those fleeting moments when nature is at it's very best. This often requires returning many times to the same location until the lighting and weather conditions are just right. Often hiking many miles, sometimes in the dark, to be at the right place at the right time. I truly enjoy this process, and consider it a labor of love. I can only hope to successfully capture some of nature's special moments, and that you enjoy viewing the resulting images as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
